Short Autobiography

I was born June 5 of 1978 in Kyiv city, Ukraine.

From 1985 year till 1995 I studied at the school. During my study I took especially interest in informatics and computing machinery, and also in natural sciences (math, physics). I participated in competitions in these fields and I succeeded in those competitions. I graduated from school with excellent grades.

From 1995 I studied at the faculty of cybernetics of National Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv. In 1999 I defended the bachelor’s professional skill degree work in applied mathematics field titled “The development of logics with nondeterministic multivalued predicates and the supporting software” with distinction and I obtained the bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics with distinction.

From 1999 year I continued my studies in the master’s at the faculty of cybernetics of National Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv. In 2001 I defended the master’s degree work titled “Development and realization using Web-technologies of Electronic Exchange of Oschadny Bank for currency selling-buying” with the excellent mark. I graduated from the University with diploma of Master’s degree in informatics with distinction.

In 2001 I entered to the post-graduate study at the programming theory chair (at the same faculty). My post-graduate research work dealt with the development of composition methods and its software support.

At the same time, starting from 1995 I have been working. From the year 1999 I have been working at the JSC “State Oschadny Bank of Ukraine”. My work experience is 6 years. 3 years of them are work experience in banking realm.

From the end of 2002 year, I am working by Assistant Professor at the Chair of Theory of Programming of the Faculty of Cybernetics of the Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University. The main working directions are research and teaching.

Some words about my previous work in the banking field.

I have experience in formal talks with foreign partners upon joint projects realization. I took part directly in the development, manufacturing application and adaptation of the computer system for banking under collaboration with VIGO Remittances Corp.

During my banking work I have developed and introduced more than 10 systems in banking technologies IT-support field. Mostly all the systems are realized on the base of three-tier client-server Web-technologies (Microsoft products platform). There are electronic exchange for selling-buying of cash money for cashless settlement, VIGO money transfers paying out system, analytic system for bank operations on the currency market monitoring, analytic system for currency position monitoring, rests of cash in banking branches limits control and monitoring system, system for complex registration of export-import operations, system for analysis of report information correctness, organization of automatic reports for external organizations generation and other systems were developed by me. These and other systems have allowed for the increase in the efficiency of banking staff work. The results of these systems applying are operation execute time decrease; precision index, timeliness of results obtaining, operation carry out reliability improve. Consequently, the bank income was really increased due to more effective work organization. For example, introduction of the VIGO money transfers paying out system allowed to raise processed transactions hundreds times the previous volume, that increased money transfer operations bank profits pro rata.
